SPORT FISHING: Yellow fin tuna, Wahoo/ono, mahi-mahi/dolphin fish/dorado, rooster fish, sailfish, marlin, blue trevalle, amber jack, etc. There are a hand full of local boat captains that know their back yard well. They offer day trips/trolling in fiberglass `pangas´ from 20´-26´. These boats have modern motors (many now four-stroke!), poles/reels, pole holders, and some even a little shade. Bring a few or your own lures if not poles too. Casa Kenia will hook you up with the best available once you arrive. Beach casting, fishing off the rocks, and in the river/river mouths can also be done. Local kids make great guides/ fishing pals. Keep what you can eat! Half day trips run from $150 and up depending on where you go (this includes ice, coolers, and all fuel). Want to try your luck/skill in Coiba National Park blue water? Hanibal Bank? Just let us know!!
