| Cook up a storm. Keep your drinks chilled in the refrigerator. Blend your favorite tropical smoothie and be sure to brew fresh panama coffee. Climb the coconut palms in the garden and harvest the taste of `pipa´ you will never forget-first hand! Go out to dinner in freshly washed clothes (leave town with all your duds nice and clean too!). Remember you have got a personal laundry room w/ washing machine, large double wash basin, indoor/outdoor clothes lines.

Relax on the back deck or walk out the back yard and take the foot path down to the local river. It´s a beautiful short walk through the small mangrove forest. Go birding! Watch the local children rope swing into the river and pull out small red snapper on hand lines. The proximity of Casa Kenia to the town beach and river (200mts), which serves as the launching area for visits/ tours to Coiba National Park, make Casa Kenia an attractive choice for lodging.

| If you´re into birding Casa Kenia serves as an excellent home base. We´ve seen a variety of species: Orange-chinned Parakeet, Chestnut-headed Oropendola, Red-crowned Woodpecker, Blue-throated Goldentail, Lance-tailed Manakin, Squirrel Cuckoo, Whimbrel, Bare-throated Tiger-Heron...just to name a few; most from looking out the back door. Check the town map on the road in front of the house and you will see that you can walk just about everywhere within five- ten min. The local food store and public telephones are right across the street.
